The Proteas have got their tour of England to a good start when they posted 455/3 on the opening day of a three day fixture. Jacques Kallis and Hashim Alma starred with the bat as both of them got centuries. However had a slow start it took him 19 balls to get his scoring going eventually going out on 172. Kallis ended on 160 as he suffered an injury to his elbow. South Africa will be hoping this partnership will remain dominant through out the tour.
