All-Star Reserve choices

Though Gil's not going, Caron might, maybe even Antawn will.

Sorry, Gilbert isn't going, but he will probably be back after the All-Star Weekend.

Ok, Dave McMenamin and John Schuhmann did it on NBA.com, so now it's my turn.

They chose who they wanted to be on the rosters of the reserves. That's what I'm doing here.

For the East, my two guards are Chauncey Billups and Ray Allen. Though Ray Ray is having physically his worst season of his career, he is still doing good. Plus, his team leads the league with a 33-7 record. Chauncey,! he is averaging 17 points and 7 assists; that's good enough stats for me.

For East forwards, Caron Butler is my main pick and the other forward I would pick is Chris Bosh. Bosh is averaging 22 points and 9 rebounds and Caron is averaging over 21 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and has good free throw shooting with 92 percent. When you compare Chris's numbers to starter Kevin Garnett's numbers, Bosh is a little better.

And for the East centers, I'll go with Dave's pick of Zydrunas Ilgauskas. He is having one of his best seasons, averaging 13 points, 9 rebounds, a .481 FG percentage, and a .824 FT shooting percentage. No more Shaq, I'm sorry. He has to retire before he loses those amazing numbers of his.

For the Wildcards for the East, the Big Three will be traveling together if Paul Pierce makes it with them. Also, Antawn Jamison is doing amazing. Jamison, with a double-double average of 21 points and 10 rebounds a game, along with 24 double-d! oubles this season, second to Dwight Howard. The Truth has 20 ! points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists a game. In my opinion, he could be rebounding better than that.

In the West, the guards I choose are Chris Paul and Steve Nash. I hate Nash, but his 17 points and 12 assists are amazing. Chris Paul is doing great, too. 21 points and 10 assists, I call him the best point guard in the West. Steve, you're getting old.

In the forward slots I'll slot in Dork- I mean Dirk Nowitzki and Carlos Boozer. Obviously Boozer's doing better, but Dirk's team has a better record. But the Jazz are catching up, by beating the Spurs by 6.

And in the center slot I'll slide in Marcus Camby. When he had 24 rebounds and 11 blocks against Utah, that shocked me. I didn't really know people were that defensive minded anymore. After Shaq had 15 blocks in one of his earlier seasons, that was good. But know he is bad and needs to retire. He is ruining his beautiful numbers from his early years.

The wildcards are Amare Stoudemire and Bar! on Davis, no comment. I shouldn't 'cause they're awesome this year.

But now Steve is away on vacation and we haven't been doing shows much anymore. I miss him. We haven't done a Steve and Filbert Show episode since like December. Maybe we'll make one later this month.
