The exciting Sybrand Engelbrecht makes his Supersport Series debut for the Nashua Cape Cobras tomorrow. The Cobras face off against the Chevrolet Warriors in a four day match at Boland Park in Paarl this week.The 20 year old made headlines during the under 19 World Cup earlier this year. He's an outstanding fielder who has even been likened to the great Jonty Rhodes. The youngster is pure class in the field and a real asset to any team. Some of his catches at backward point were amazing and his presence should ! make the opposition think twice if anything goes in his direction.
Engelbrecht is also an off-spinner and a right-handed middle-order batsman, so his versatility will be very handy on a pitch that has been disappointing so far this season.
