FC Cape Town prepare for Sundowns

FC Cape Town coach, Johnnie Ferreira, says they'll go on the attack when they face Sundowns in a Nedbank Cup quarterfinal at Athlone Stadium on Saturday night. The first division club has kept a clean sheet in the tournament so far, but have not been scoring many goals. Ferreira says they'll be looking to upset the Brazilians' passing rhythm early in the first half. He says his players are up for the match and motivated to go all the way.
The club is already guaranteed R 400 000 in prize money, even if they lose on Saturday. That wil! l more than double to a million rand if they go through to the semi-finals. Besides being a great achievement to reach this stage of the Cup competition, the success has also led to commercial exposure and Ferreira made a point of calling on corporates to consider getting on board and sponsoring the young club. He says the prize money will assist in developing young talent, which is the primary focus of the Bluedowns based club.
